The Achilles tendon is a common area for injury in our companion dogs. This presentation will discuss the basic anatomy, grades of injury, and healing requirements for soft tissue injuries. Common clinical presentations will be reviewed and options for management will be discussed including the role of the rehabilitation professional with regards to diagnosis, post-operative care, and orthotics.
